Privacy & Data Protection
How Drift handles your data
This page is maintained by Drift Hospitality to explain how we collect, use, and protect supplier dockets, invoices, and business cost information shared with Drift.
What we collect
Drift collects supplier dockets, delivery invoices, and related business documents that you or your team choose to share. These documents typically contain supplier names, product descriptions, quantities, prices, dates, and venue identifiers. We may also collect contact details such as name, email address, and role for the people who manage or receive reports.
How we use your data
We use your information to provide the Drift cost-control service: reading documents, tracking supplier prices, identifying missing dockets, preparing weekly and monthly reports, and supporting your venue. We do not sell your business data. Reports and exports are only shared with contacts you approve.
Data storage and security
Drift uses cloud infrastructure and security practices appropriate for a business service. Documents are stored securely, access is limited to authorised personnel, and we apply encryption in transit. Our platform provider supplies the underlying hosting and database infrastructure; we configure it to keep your venue data separate and protected.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. For business documents and reports, the venue owner or authorised contact can request changes or deletion by contacting us at info@drifthospitality.com.
Third-party sharing
We only share data with third-party service providers where necessary to operate the service — for example, cloud hosting, OCR processing, and email delivery. We do not share your business documents with other venues, suppliers, or advertisers.
